Heart Failure (Congestive Heart Failure)

Heart failure is a long-term condition in which the heart can’t pump blood well enough to meet the body’s needs all the time and it gets worse over time. Although the name sounds like your heart has stopped working, heart failure means the heart isn’t able to pump blood as well as it should. When the heart has less pumping power, that can damage organs and fluid can collect in the lungs.

Early treatment can recover the patient.
